Is your child turning 18 soon? Do you have questions about alternatives to guardianship? Are you looking for a way to help your adult child with a disability become more independent? This presentation is for you! During this session you will learn about Supported Decision-Making, which allows people with disabilities to keep their rights and make their own decisions with the help of people they trust.

This information will be presented by guest speaker Viviana Bonilla-Lopez, Equal Justice Works Fellow, Sponsored by the Florida Bar Foundation. It is open to registered adult UM-NSU CARD constituents, their families, and any interested professionals in the community.
